Thinking Thanksgiving......already

While blog hopping over the weekend I found this great linky party (and I love linky parties!!!!!)
Chrissy at First Grade Found Me is having a Thanksgiving picture book linky party!

I love showing my kids the illustrations from
Sarah Morton's Day: A Day in the Life of a Pilgrim Girl    Samuel Eaton's Day: A Day in the Life of a Pilgrim Boy
For read alouds I like
Thanksgiving Is for Giving ThanksI read this before making our "What I'm thankful for turkey"
Turkey TroubleI read this before introducing our "Disguise a Turkey" project
Which brings me to my newest creation:
Every year for the past 6 years I've done this Disguise a Turkey project.  My kiddos love it and it makes such a fun bulletin board display.
I've spruced up my directions and writing pages and have put it in my TpT store for $3.50.  It comes with teacher and student directions, 3 types of writing paper, a rubric, student planning pages, and a turkey template!
Click the picture above or right {HERE} to head to my TpT store to pick this up!
Have a great week!
