  1. Hey Brandi! I'm new to all of this TPT and TN stuff too but I can give some advice off my experiences so far.
    1. Try to be original with products and make them look as professional as possible. A nice cover page is always a catch for me.
    2. Carefully check over your work before uploading or selling. Sometimes when you print things out things come out different to how you planned. Test first :)
    3. Some great advice that I am only just starting to do (and will probably go back and do to all my products so far) is put your name/copyright/year of publish on every page you create, particularly free items. This prevents others from taking your freebies and trying to sell them elsewhere.

I'll leave it there. I could go on but others will have fantastic advice too! Thanks for the givewaway!

  2. I just opened up a TPT shop recently. It's still a work in progress but I would say a few things:
Create original and unique ideas that may not be out there already.
Cute fonts, cliparts, and backgrounds are appealing to the eye. It will draw people to them.
Give away some freebies to your blog followers at first so they know what your work is all about.
    Hope that helps!

  7. My tip for TpT is to be patient. Make your products look appealing, clip art and fun fonts can go along way. Don't get discouraged at the beginning. Just like blogging, it takes a bit of time to get it going. Good luck!!!

  8. I'm a new follower! I don't have a TPT store, but do have sell resources on my own site. I'd say do not go overboard on posting only about your products on your blog. A little bit goes a long way. Followers get tired of it if it feels like one big sales pitch.

  10. I'm pretty new to blogging and TpT. I first thought about what I could offer other teachers. Then I searched for similar items on TpT to see how unique my items would be. I agree with some of the others and make sure you keep offering some freebies along the way.

  11. Love how colorful your blog is :) We just opened our TpT store a few months ago, so we are still newbies. What matters most to us when we are creating a product is that it is something we would be excited to purchase and teach ourselves. We don't want to produce anything less than what we would be impressed with. We also became interested in TpT because of the quality products we purchased at affordable, fair prices. We also have several freebies that people can download to assess the quality of our work. I think that if you create products that are meaningful to you that your products will be of quality.

    Good luck :)

  12. I am a new follower to your blog. I love it. I like when there is a preview to download to check out what is being sold before you buy it. Sometimes when there is not a preview, I am not sure it will work in my classroom.
