So, what's working for me right now? I'd have to say my pencil sharpening routine. Like many in the blogging world, I found the Quietest Classroom Pencil Sharpener!
Now, I do not let my kiddos use this EXCEPT for the ones that I've trained. They think it's a special privilege to sharpen the pencils in the bucket with this sharpener!
It truly is quiet and sharpens pencils wonderfully! By using this and the sharp/dull buckets, my pencil sharpening routine is awesome!

I have that sharpener too but I have not trained any child to touch it LOL so I am constantly sharpening. I think I am going to break down and train one or two.
