Monday Made It!

I got some upsetting news this week that I probably won't be teaching second grade in the fall.  I'll still be at my school site, but I don't know what grade I'll be in.  I'm not going to complain, though, because I'm thankful to have a job.  So, I had to stop making grade-specific things and work on general classroom stuff.  Again I'm linking up with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics for

Here's what I made:
I covered a shoebox in duct tape then painted some wooden letters and used my glue gun to attach them to the shoebox.  I plan to keep this on my desk for students' notes and things they hand me in the morning.

Here's the welcome sign I created.  It's available at my TpT store {HERE}.  I plan to hang this on my door for the beginning of school, back to school night, open house, etc.
Make sure you stop by and link up.  I get so many great ideas each week from fellow bloggers!

  24. Your welcome sign turned out AWESOME, and I love the patterned duct tape you chose. My TV cabinet ends up plastered with all the drawings, letters and cards my students give me - thanks for sharing the idea about keeping them in a cute box!
